During our earthly life,the body gradually dies;even the emotions become duller.But the mind in most of us continues to live,and even grows more lively and active,enjoys itself more,works and plays with more expansion and delight.

As a teacher,i was firstly caught by the picture of the little boy standing by the window.I can't identify his look but I can feel him whimpering for the lack of playtime outside.To please their parents and teachers,most of Chinese students spend their days and nights on their textbooks ,which are too often tedious.They are not enjoying learning but confined to learning.The loss of the pleasure of learning almost drives them crazy about the facts and formulas that their teachers cram into their minds.The rigid priciple and regular hours make learning a MUST to the youngsters.But they have to surrender to the external direction.
As a matter of fact,learning is a natural pleasure,inborn and instinctive.Some effective habits of learning aren't implanted by training.In china,the teaching methods are too old-fashioned to keep up with the pace of the age.Take English for example,most of english teachers still focus on grammar training while neglecting the efficiency of listening and speaking.Students are forced to do more exercises in order to pass their final exam to a higher school.However,when they go to college,they find it so hard to speak English in or out class.The high-mark goal of learning descends the pure heart-felt pleasure.The learning without passion and absorbtion will enslave students even a lifetime.
Come to the parents now,the old saying"Save rod,spoil child"still reminds in their mind.Many extra classes are planned on their little children despite their truly wants.As it's known to all,far beyond books ,learning means keeping the mind open and active to receive all kinds of experience.I once read a piece of news on a magazine,saying that an inmate father had educated two or three excellent college students,which is incredible but true.His teaching way was to take his children to travel all over China before he was barred in prison.So travelling is one of the most pleasant way of learning,travel with an open mind,an alert eye and a wish to know other people and other places.If you are apt to travelling,do it immediately please.You won't disappoint about the things you see and hear.
Actually ,we have the capacity to attain our goal of achieving health,virtue and knowledge.But the pleasure or happiness of learning needs a long,delibrate effort of the mind and emotions and even the body.Let children release their dreams in the Great Nature.
Remember: I think therefore i exist.
